Kerry's journey began with a desire to provide professional skincare solutions that align with her active New Zealand lifestyle. Frequent exposure to harsh elements like sun and saltwater inspired her to develop a line of products that could withstand these challenges. 

Her goal was to create formulations that penetrate beyond the skin's surface, reaching the dermis where they can truly make a difference.

 Kerry's expertise in active skincare allows her to avoid the common pitfalls of over-the-counter products, which often contain minimal active ingredients. Instead, she focuses on powerful ingredients that ensure effective home care packages and advanced in-clinic treatments tailored to various skin concerns. 

Kerry's passion for small businesses is at the heart of BLACK&WHITE Beauty. On December 23, 2015, an email arrived in Kerry's inbox that would change her perception of the beauty industry. She realised that small businesses were losing control over their inventory and sales strategies. 

This sparked her determination to create a brand that prioritises accessibility for these enterprises.

Kerry spent two years researching formulations and ingredients, culminating in a partnership with renowned formulator Sam Dhatt in the USA.
