COLLAGEN INDUCTION - MICRONEEDLING 60min From $300 The mainprincipal of this treatment is to stimulate the body's own production of collagen. When preformed by a qualified skin technician, a topical anaesthetic may be applied, followed by the application of a sterile roller or dermal pen. (We use Exceed Dermal pen) This is made with a series of fine sharp needles rolled over the surface of the skin to create many microscopic channels deep into the dermis. This stimulates your own body to make new collage, thus increasing the strength & elasticity of the skin. DMN has a firming, smoothing, and lifting effect on the skin. -

What are the benefits of Micro-needling?
Micro-needling treatments do not burn like laser or acid treatments. There is less discomfort & faster recovery, resulting in less disruption to normal activities. It is effective on all body areas. Micro-needling, in conjunction with other treatments, can safely be used on laser resurfaced skins, and can be combined with our other skin care rejuvenation treatments.
Down time & side effects
Social down time is usually a few hours with the skin's appearance returning to normal within 12-24 hours. Light makeup maybe applied by the following day. Quality natural sunscreens are highly recommended at SPF 28 or greater. There are usually no side effects with this treatment & a full consultation is given to eliminate any problems.
